Terms and conditions of sale for the eShop
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to any purchase of products made on the website (hereinafter the Site) of ALPEN SWISS TOOLS AG (hereinafter ALPEN or we) by customers (Buyer or you).
For the countries of the European Union, the entity in charge of sales, shipment, and logistics is FELCO Europe GmbH.

Please read these terms before placing your order. Your order is subject to the general terms and conditions of sale in effect at the time you order a product.
The offerings on the Site are intended for professionals and consumers who are purchasing for their internal needs, as end users, excluding purchases for resale.
Ordering Products
Product Overview. The online product offers are valid only as long as they are visible on the Site and within the limits of available stocks. We will make every effort to represent the products offered for sale on the Site as accurately as possible. However, your perception of the photographic representation of the products may not correspond exactly to the products themselves. Illustrations, drawings and descriptions contained in brochures and catalogs, as well as measurements and weights, are considered approximate.
Contract. The sales contract is perfected when, after an order has been entered and paid for by you, we confirm its acceptance by email. The order confirmation will list the products in full and confirm the quantity that will be delivered for each product. In case of errors in the displayed prices, we reserve the right to rescind the sales contract. You must save the confirmation email, including these general terms and conditions of sale in effect at the time of ordering, as proof of purchase of the products.
Quantity;. We sell products only in quantities that correspond to the usual internal needs of a professional or a consumer. We reserve the right to refuse the order when the quantities ordered exceed these needs.
Price
Price. The price of a product corresponds to the amount in euros indicated on the Site. VAT is included in the prices indicated.
Shipping costs. Delivery charges are not included in the price; these are separately indicated on the Site at the time of ordering and in the confirmation email.
Error on displayed prices. Due to the number of products and despite our best efforts, some prices displayed on our Sites may be incorrect. We perform a price accuracy check as part of the delivery process. If, after verification, the price displayed on the Website is found to be in error, we will contact you to ask if you wish to purchase the product at the correct price or if you wish to cancel your order.
Payment
You are required to pay using the electronic payment methods available on the Site. Payment by invoice or bank transfer is expressly excluded.
Payment must be made before delivery of the products. If the electronic payment provider or card issuer does not authorize the payment, we cannot confirm the order or deliver the product. We do not charge additional fees for credit card payments; however, the payment provider or your credit card issuer may charge additional fees.
Order Verification and Acceptance
You must check the products immediately after delivery. Any delivery that does not conform to the order must be the subject of a written notice within ten (10) days. On receipt, the products delivered are accepted. Products are also returned if you use the products purchased.
Discount Codes
Any discount codes available online or elsewhere may be subject to changes by FELCO at any time, without prior notice or explanation. FELCO reserves the right to modify the validity of discount codes in terms of their applicable range, discount value, expiry date, and the countries in which they apply. The use of any discount code is subject to FELCO’s sole discretion and does not guarantee eligibility for a discount at the time of purchase.
Product engraving
ALPEN reserves the right to refuse to engrave certain words that are considered unlawful, contrary to morality, or even offensive or that could damage the reputation of the mark.
Warranty for défauts
Défaute guaranteed. ALPEN warrants to the ultimate purchaser that the product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship existing at the time of purchase subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, except for blades, counter blades, springs and other wear parts for which all warranties are excluded.
Warranty Period. ALPEN warrants the product to be free from defects for twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase, with the exception of blades, counterblades, springs and other wearing parts. The warranty period of twenty-four (24) months is a limitation period. After this period, any claim is barred. Repair or replacement of the defective product or parts does not interrupt or restart a new or extended warranty period for the replaced product or parts.
Release Procedure. The complaint must be made by e-mail to contact@alpen.tools or by using the contact form on the website and must contain the following information: type of product, description of the product, invoice number or order confirmation number, if applicable we reserve the right to ask for pictures of the product and in particular the product. ALPEN will then examine the product under complaint and notify the Buyer whether it accepts the defect and, if so, whether it will repair or replace the product. Unless otherwise instructed by us, you must return the product to the following address: FELCO Europe GmbH Ludwigsburger Str. 71,DE-71691 Freiberg/Neckar, Germany.
Shipping Charges. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the defective product back to us. Unless otherwise instructed by us, you must return the product to the following address: FELCO Europe GmbH Ludwigsburger Str. 71,DE-71691 Freiberg/Neckar, Germany.
Warranty Coverage. ALPEN will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product or any necessary parts to correct the defect in material or workmanship if, after inspection, ALPEN accepts the defect. The warranty covers labor costs incurred to repair the product or to replace defective parts. Any reduction or refund of the purchase price of the product is excluded.
This warranty does not apply:
- in the event of abnormal, inappropriate or improper use of the product, improper treatment, tampering with the product, improper storage or transportation;
- in the event of improper maintenance and repair in accordance with the instructions described in the product's user manual;
- in the event of improper service, repair or maintenance, including the use of non-original parts or accessories;
- in the event of corrosion of the product's metal parts resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, exposure to moisture or chemical or corrosive substances;
- when parts or accessories of another origin are used or when the product sold has been transformed or modified;
- in the event of total or partial destruction of the product that is not due to a defect or in the event of damage resulting from an accident, natural disaster or fire or from an act of God.
Linkage to other commercial warranties. This warranty for defects applies independently of any manufacturer's warranty that may be provided by ALPEN.
Purchaser Warranties
The Buyer warrants that he/she is legally entitled to enter into binding contracts and is at least 18 years of age.
The Buyer warrants that he/she is purchasing the products for his/her own internal needs and not for the purpose of resale.
Data Protection and Terms of Use of the Site
The Buyer warrants that he/she has read and agrees to the privacy policy and terms of use of the Site.
Personal data transmitted during payment is not saved in the Site's system. This data is collected, saved and processed only by the electronic payment provider. You agree to review the payment provider's privacy policy and any relevant information available on the Site.
Major force, assignment
Any event of any nature whatsoever affecting our control, including, but not limited to, severe accidents, strikes, fires, wars, pandemics, or other acts of God; Any delay in the performance of the Agreement shall be cause for suspension of the obligations contained in the Agreement.
Buyer may not assign the sales contract to a third party. ALPEN may assign the sales contract or any of its rights or obligations under the sales contract to any company in the FLISCH Group.
Applicable law and forum
These general terms and conditions of sale shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with german law.
